This process is called ‘Post-Print’ because the print is applied after the board has been corrugated. Postprint is a Flexographic printing process that is done in-line during the same process that the box/product is die-cut and/or glued. The flexo offline process of post-printing is used on micro-flutes and corrugated boxes which could include coated, uncoated or semi-coated substrates. The ink dries quickly and is easy to print with. The manufacturing of flexo post-printed boxes is fairly straightforward and can be adapted for various purposes using a wide range of substrates. This process is ideal for basic graphics, line art, and simple screening. Typical uses of such post-print boxes are in retail stores and in-store displays.
