Our Accessibility Plan outlines how we remove and prevent accessibility barriers for our customers and employees.
We’ve adopted accessibility standards that align with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA).
The Plan tracks our progress toward achieving these standards now and in the future.
Statement of Commitment

Accessible Emergency Information
Atlantic Packaging Products Ltd. is committed to providing our customers with publicly available emergency information in accessible formats when requested. We also provide individualized emergency response information to employees with disabilities when needed.
Training
Atlantic Packaging Products Ltd. provides accessibility training to employees, volunteers, and other staff members. Every person who deals with members of the public or who participates in developing Atlantic Packaging Products Ltd. policies, practices and procedures governing the provision of goods and services to the public will receive training regarding the provision of goods and services to persons with disabilities.
Documentation of training of employees, students and third part contractors shall be maintained by the relevant department as required by law.
Information & Communications
Atlantic Packaging Products Ltd. is committed to meeting the communication needs of all our customers. We will consult with people with disabilities to get insights about their specific needs to help us better communicate with all our employees and customers.
Atlantic Packaging Products Ltd. welcomes all feedback as it may identify areas that require change and assist in continuous service improvement. We will continue to respond to all customer feedback in a timely manner. Such feedback may be by telephone, in person, in writing, or by delivering an electronic text via email, on diskette or otherwise. Atlantic Packaging will make best efforts to provide a response in the same format in which the feedback was received.
We aim to make our websites accessible to everyone. All Atlantic Packaging Products Ltd. web content will be assessed and evaluated on a regular basis for current accessibility conformance and potential barriers.

The return to work process outlines the steps Atlantic Packaging Products Ltd. will take to facilitate the return to work and will include documented individual accommodation plans as part of the process.

Performance Management, Carrier Development, and Advancement and Redeployment
Atlantic Packaging Products Ltd. strives to meet the accessibility needs of all employees. Managers and HR teams work with employees to provide accommodations and remove barriers to performance, career development, or redeployment.
Design of Public Spaces
Atlantic Packaging Products Ltd. will meet the Accessibility Standards for the Design of Public Spaces when building or making major modifications to public spaces. Public spaces include.
- Outdoor public eating areas
- Outdoor paths of travel, like sidewalks, ramps, stairs, curb ramps, rest areas and accessible
- pedestrian signals Accessible off-street parking
- Service-related elements like service counters and waiting areas
Atlantic Packaging Products Ltd. will put procedures in place to prevent service disruptions to its accessible parts of its public spaces.
In the event of a service disruption, we will notify the public of the service disruption and alternatives available.
